Welcome!
I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at Nottingham University Business School, as well as an entrepreneur and a venture capitalist over the last ten years. Born in a musician family, I am also a professional composer, pianist and conductor with special focus on classical music and choir music. In the finance industry, I am the managing investment director of a VC fund and a financial holding company.
I study corporate finance, innovation and creativity, entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial finance, real estate and China economy. My research works are published on reputable journals including Management Science and Review of Corporate Finance Studies. I also serve as an ad hoc referee for leading journals such as Management Science, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, and Nature.
I obtained my PhD from PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University. Before that I graduated from Peking University (Physics) and Fudan University (Econ fin).
